I spent the holiday weekend with family, MAJOR family time! Friday, my cousin came over to stay the evening with me so we had girl time! {think pretty little liars, nail polish, deep talks, the usual} Saturday was FOOTBALL, we had my parents over to watch the Auburn game because we are BIG auburn fans and then when they left Tripp watched the bama game and I fell asleep {booooo! bama}
Sunday, my dad's side of the family had a labor day/August birthday bash which involved water slides, moon walks and a shaved ice food truck...no lie, they know how to throw a party, y'all!
{mother, father and me!}
Monday, Tripp's granddad came down so we had a nice labor day lunch with his family {no pics, poot!}.
So that concludes my holiday weekend, so why wasn't I with y'all yesterday....well every morning when I wake up I walk the two big dogs to their fence outside for the day...as I was walking them in my OWN yard and both on a LEASH, the neighbors Rottweiler ran over and JUMPED on my chocolate lab while he was still with me and started mauling him. It was horrifying to watch as I screamed but couldn't get him off of Beau and Beau could barely defend himself. It was a good 10-15 minutes before I could get my dogs away and inside enough to survive..literally the Rott would've killed beau otherwise. So needless to say, yesterday was a work half a day and try to get home to get through the day. The pups are our fur babies so it was pretty traumatizing. Then this morning Tripp and I had to take a day off of work just to take beau to the vet where we had to leave him to get sedated and see what needed to be done. SO that brings us to now and how I've missed y'all and how I hope the rest of the week is peaceful!
So back to the link up with Going the Distance and Jessi's Design, what have I been pinning?! {all the pictures are linked}
