I have read y'all's suggestions from last Friday but with my schedule I haven't been able to try them yet but I will and I will let y'all know what worked for me and give credit where it is due. I have downloaded the Starbucks App {per Lindsay #greatname} and am working my way to a GOLD card {which I really want simply because it is GOLD}!

I struggled a lot in college but my ABSOLUTE favorite memory of my 4 years was doing the Wallace State News. Mike and I were the first ones and we had a blast, I'm sure they have rules and stuff now but we were the guinea pigs so we literally goofed off the majority of the time. Feel free to watch and have a good laugh, at the end of the video we even had a blooper reel #superprofessional! Last note, how thick is my accent y'all?! Lord!

friday favorites.

it's friday favorites again! 

I eventually need some new tennis shoes, I have a lightweight pair of merrell's that are almost done and a pair I got two years ago when I was crossfitting that have almost met their life expectancy too. 

I have a wide range of what I like for my running shoes so these are the ones I am digging, too bad they are pretty expensive but a girl can dream.

I don't need a lot of clothes {of course, I always WANT} but I am literally down to like one pair of shorts. So I've been dreaming of getting these...all from Forever 21.

Ya'll this whole week has been filled with Gilmore Girls talk because they had a huge reunion and y'all, that just makes my heart so full. My mom and I love that show and definitely miss it.

Now I'm strictly a Lakeshow fan for life, but we haven't had much of a team the past two years at least and I couldn't be less of a Lebron fan {Kobe>Lebron}. But when someone asks who I'm going for in this finals series, I say RILEY CURRY!

Pinterest Tuesdays.

Y'all I am so out of it! Totally started writing a what's up Wednesday post to only then realize that it is definitely NOT Wednesday but Tuesday. So stay tuned to tomorrow for me to end out May with my What's Up Wednesday post.

It has been a crazy week, hence the lack of postage. Last week is the busiest work week of my year [an accountant's version of tax day]. We had our graduation ceremony for the school, it went really well considering the year it's been for everyone.

Then I had to work again Thursday, getting things ready for the next school year already [seriously, time flies] and then I started getting sick this weekend...dum dum dummmmm. I hate being sick and I don't have the best immune system to begin with so normally when I get sick it knocks me on my butt [fever and all]. So the holiday weekend wasn't much of a holiday for us, Tripp had the sniffles as well.

So Tuesday's are my pinterest day, unfortunately I missed What's On Monday so I will pick it back up next week.

This past week what I've been digging on pinterest...

Chia Seed Pudding  This is a good starting point for Chia Puddings. I have the WORST sweet tooth, seriously my biggest problem when it comes to my diet. So I am looking for ways to suppress that here lately and I heard that the Chia Puddings are always a good go to so this weekend I tried to make one and TA DA, it turned out great actually! I think the texture freaks Tripp out a bit[he's super picky!] but I loved it and it reminded me of rice pudding.

Wellness Retreat -
I told Tripp that next year I want to go on a Wellness Retreat so I've been pinning different ones and seeing which ones have the best reviews. Not sure if it's something that he would want to do or not but I like reading about what each one has to offer. May end up being a girls trip, who knows. My favorite so far is the Soulstice Retreat in Utah.

Essential Oils-
I've been really interested in trying oils to help with my depression, anxiety, low immune system, etc. So I started out with DoTerra and Pinterest is full of different mixtures, tips and tricks.

I started my collection with Lavender, Balance and Elevation.

my top favorites for the week:

This guy! Of course, he is an every week fav but today we have been together 4 years so here is to 4 more years haha. It has been a ride and an adventure, that's for sure!

Good news!! We are officially a two car household, y'all have no idea how excited we are. We sold our second car literally the week of our honeymoon and tried to be a one a car household for a while due to just saving money and paying off our debt. With the help of family (thanks for letting us borrow cars and giving us a few rides!), prayers and managing money, we now have two cars and Tripp has a truck (he's a man!). Yay!!

 I need these pieces in my closet! Wish list for sure.

Since last Friday, I've gotten major family time in, which is always a favorite! Friday, Mom and I took my Nana to Olive Garden and then to Belk's to get a purse for Mama's Day. Saturday Morning was spent with my Dad's side of the family eating breakfast at ryan's and Saturday afternoon we went to see our niece's dance recital [so sweet!]. Sunday for lunch, we had Tripp's side over for Mother's Day lunch and Sunday for dinner, we had my mom and dad over for Mother's Day dinner. Monday morning, Mom and I spent a few hours at my Grandmother's house pampering her for Mama's Day. Needless to say, we needed a weekend from our weekend.

Crossfit Games Regionals start today! Y'all, now crossfit isn't my favorite sport to do but it is my favorite to watch and regionals start today! Team EZ, Team Dan Bailey, Team Matt Chan, Team Josh Bridges! I mean I just love watching these people do things that look extremely painful.
