Hi friends! Glad to be back and I am already feeling better than last week. Good news! Bad news: Tripp starts back full time work on Friday so we had to make sure our weekend was a lot of fun and we had success! We actually had a date night and celebrated our favorite little girl so here are some pics to let y'all in on the weekend.
We went to the Alabama Theater to watch The Breakfast Club [which I had never seen #awfulIknow] and it is such a fun experience to watch a movie and cheaper than the regular movies.
If you have ever been to Birmingham, then the Alabama Theater should be one of your stops. It is a beautiful place!
When you first walked in they had this neat bluegrass band playing and it echoed through the whole theater until the movie started. So cool!
Before the movie started, they had the organ player come out [it's the largest organ in the southeast] and we had a sing along!
I also have a goal to take more pictures of me and Tripp because we have a very sad amount so TA-DA, here we are!
Then after the movie we went downtown to help celebrate my cousin, Em's 21st birthday! It definitely took us back a couple of years when we were 21 and this was our scene and buddy, it was fun but we both decided we do not miss that. We went to Moe's BBQ and they had live music which is always a favorite of mine!
We had a great Friday night, right?! Then Saturday, we cleaned #yuk and that night headed out to celebrate our favorite little girl, Willow Rhea! We headed out to Johnny Rocket's which I haven't been there in yearsss and it is pretty fun for kids.
[birthday girl is a camera hog!]
and after dinner we headed to Steel City Pops which is a local popsicle place that is a pretty big deal here in the area [aka: packed all the time].
and then ended Sunday with church [
Move Church] and did our grocery shopping! #marriedlife
what did y'all do this weekend?! see you guys back here tomorrow for some more fun!
A popsicle restaurant? That sounds unique and interesting! Glad you had a good weekend.

I've never heard of a popsicle place but that sounds ah-mazing! It's all frozen yogurt and ice cream around here.
