Hi beauties!
So today is all about favorites but it will include you guys alot more than normal {yay!}! I need MAJOR suggestions on some of my favorites. {if this is your first time visiting not a mom, friday favorites normally look like this}
1} COFFEE-
Okay I am a MAJOR lover of coffee. Iced, hot, strong, light, you get the picture. Y'all I am from a small town and we just recently got a Starbucks #colormeexcited but I am not an expert at ordering so this is where you come in! Post your best suggestions and loves on the coffee front, recently it's been so hot here I've been trying the Vanilla Skinny Iced Latte which is good but I need more variety. I hate drinking calories so I am not really one for a frappe but anything else I am game for sooo POST AWAY!
2} FOUNDATION-
I love me some make up, unfortunately since my skin has gotten bad I don't wear it during the week just on the weekends when we go places. That being said I am looking for a good foundation, I have a powder that I love that I've mentioned but I am needing a good foundation/BB cream, just something with coverage. It can be drugstore, sephora, ulta, anywhere I just need some help!
Sorry for the male readers {okay, just my uncle} but I need some help on the bra front {you ladies know}. I have a lot of shirts where it shows and I HATE that but I've been seeing these cute bralette things for the fall and was wondering what y'all recommended?!
4} WORKOUTS-
My pure barre membership is through in two weeks and I don't plan on renewing it. I am gonna try some at home workouts or single classes...so I need your help. What works for you at home?! What classes do y'all try that you like? I still have my hot yoga membership but I need cardio/strength to supplement with it. Spin? At home weights? You tube videos? Running? HELP!
5} HAIR-
Okay, so I confess I color my own hair, from a box {on a budget, ladies}. I do get trims from a hair-stylest but other than that I pretty much try to figure it out for myself. That being said, I am pretty much a boy when it comes to being able to fix my hair. I can straighten it but that's about as far as it goes. I need help, what's your advice on curling and styling your hair?! Plus I have long bangs, what's a good way to style those? Did certain youtube videos help?! Let a girl know!
So that's it for this week! Have I asked enough of y'all today?! Sorry but this girl needs help!

I am a big fan of Garnier BB Cream - it's cheap and gets the job done. Plus it's available for different skin tones and types. I've been using it for the past 2 years and you don't need much on beauty blender to get full coverage.

DeleteOkay, lots of thoughts. 1) I'm with you...coffee is awesome. My favorite orders are a blonde roast, a skinny vanilla latte, a vanilla iced coffee with soy milk, or an iced caramel macchiato. 2) Try Estee Lauder BB cream 3) Bras...I'm helpless on that one. Have a great weekend!

I need that shirt! at Starbucks I tend to order things with tons of calories and I always add Whip Cream to whatever I choose so I doubt you want my advice! LivingSocial and Groupon have both offered deals lately where you can get $10 for $5 so keep your eye out for those and load up now that you have a Starbucks near by!

DeleteFor coffee try an iced coffee, heavy cream ( not heavy on the cream, just heavy cream), sugar free vanilla or cinnamon dulce. This works for those on a keto eating plan. If you want decaf - do a decaf iced americano, heavy cream, whatever sf flavors. I add in a splenda or two sometimes.

DeleteNothing wrong with asking for suggestions! I have a few-- Coffee: I only like iced/cold coffee so I typically get that + sugar-free vanilla syrup + coconut milk (saves a bunch of calories!). They also now have cold brew coffee which is delicious!
ReplyDeleteBralette: These are a god send! I find all of mine from Forever 21 which I love because they have some padding compared to others.
Workouts: I personally like HIT workouts which you could easily do at home. Otherwise, I'm a big fan of Body Pump if you decide to go to a class!

DeleteI'm not a coffee drinker so I can't help you on that but I can relate to the small town living...we don't have a Starbucks yet, but there's talk around town that we are getting on this fall and that makes me soooo happy!
ReplyDeleteI have super sensitive, oily skin and I've been using Mary Kay's matte foundation for a couple years now. It works great for me! But I do really wish I could find a drugstore brand that worked for me because I'm bad about waiting until the last minute on ordering the makeup and then I'm out for a couple days.
I've been wondering about the bralettes too. I can't wait to hear your feedback!
I wake up early in the mornings, when it's still cool outside, and walk/jog at the park. I really enjoy doing that and it gives you some good thinking time!
When I had long hair my very favorite thing to do was curl it and pin my bangs back. I used a curling wand and it was like magic! Before I used one, my hair would never hold a curl..like not even for a couple hours. When I started using the wand, I could go a couple days and still have beautiful curls!

Girl, I understand the skin! My is pretty sensitive and VERY oily! I will have to try Mary Kay's, I always forget about checking there. {I always wait till last minute too, WHOOPS!} I'll report back with my bralette feedback but so far most girls have loved them on here! DeleteI use Clinique Even Better foundation and it has been a favorite for awhile...my skin is all over the place (oily, dry, oily and dry!) and I think this has good coverage without being heavy. As far as working out, I love getting outside for a walk/run. My coworker's wife is doing the 21 day fix and has really enjoyed that, too. As far as hair, I am totally out of it...if you figure out how to curl yours or do something fun, please share!

DeleteI'm so obsessed with Starbucks and can't imagine not having one!! #igrewupintheburbs ;) haha! So my favorites (and I subscribe to the not drinking your calories thing too) are the Strawberry Acai Refresher, the Green Tea Peach Lemonade (not low cal haha), iced coffee or cold brew with nonfat milk or coconut milk with a sugar free syrup (vanilla and caramel are my favorites) and of course a pumpkin spice latte!! There's so good but not very waist line or wallet friendly so I usually have one a season and then do an iced coffee or hot coffee with just a pump of pumpkin and nonfat milk - lower calories and cheaper!! My other big tip is to get a gold card - all you have to do is register a gift card!!! - and you get a free drink every 12 you buy. So easy and I manage it on the iPhone app. Let me know if you have questions... seriously love me some Starbucks!! xo
